Saskatchewan PNP invites 502 immigration candidates

SINP has issued nearly 900 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination this month
Saskatchewan held a major selection round on January 21, inviting immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence. Saskatchewan PNP draw of 2021.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited candidates from the International Skilled Worker category via two subcategories: Express Entry, and Occupations In-Demand.
The SINP enables Saskatchewan to nominate immigration candidates with skills needed from the state’s labor market.
A total of 502 invitations were sent out to immigration candidates that had work experience in pick occupations. A total of 189 were encouraged through the Express Entry sub-category, and 313 invitations moved to Occupations In-Demand candidates.
Saskatchewan encouraged candidates who had work experience in among 79 jobs. More details about the jobs that were contained in this selection round are found on the province’s page . Saskatchewan PNP draw of 2021.
The SINP uses the EOI platform to select the candidates who have the maximum potential to succeed in the regional labor market. Candidates will need to demonstrate their devotion to building a lifetime in Saskatchewan by embracing their work experience, education, language ability, age, and relations to the province.
Saskatchewan gives candidates a score out of 100 based on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. The highest-scoring candidates are then issued an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination out of Saskatchewan.
In order to be encouraged in this draw, applicants from sub-categories needed to have submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles together with the SINP. Irrespective of the category, encouraged candidates needed a score of at least 77 beneath the SINP’s EOI points grid.
In late 2020, Saskatchewan made changes to the points system to give more EOI points to folks who can speak English and French.
Express Entry sub-category
In the latest invitation round, Saskatchewan issued 189 invitations to applicants who had profiles at the national Express Entry pool.
The federal Express Entry system manages the pool of candidates for three of Canada’s main economic-class immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Expertise Class.
Express Entry candidates who apply and receive a provincial nomination in the state of Saskatchewan are given an extra 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
This also applies to all of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Programs that are coordinated with Express Entry.
Occupations In-Demand sub-category
The Occupations In-Demand sub-category is available to immigration candidates who don’t have a national Express Entrance profile. This app is for immigration candidates who have work experience in jobs that have labor shortages in Saskatchewan.
There were 313 Occupations In-Demand candidates invited to submit an application for a provincial nomination.
