Quebec Migration: Over 2,500 Invitations Issued Under the Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program for Permanent Residency

On February 23, 2026, Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) invited 2,573 invitations across all its four streams under the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ). 

The recent round of invitation for Quebec skilled worker selection program is considered to be the second draw of the year, after the closure of Quebec Experience Program category (PEQ). Quebec latest draw invited applicants under these major categories:

❖  Highly Qualified and Specialized skills

❖  Intermediate and Manual skills

❖  Regulated professions

❖  Exceptional talents stream 

Quebec Migration: Latest Draw

The latest round of invitations invited applicants under four major categories highlighting their eligibility requirements, minimum scores required and nominated occupations. The in-depth analysis for invitations are as follows: 

1.   Highly Qualified and Specialized Skills

Under this stream, Quebec invited 901 invitations under three different selections to those candidates who are presently residing in Quebec with a 12 month work experience in occupations listed in the Tier 0, 1 or 2 category. The three different selection factors listed with their number of invitations and minimum score required as:

○    Welders and welding and brazing machine operators (72106)

2.   Intermediate and Manual Skills

Applicants eligible for the intermediate and manual skills, invited 495 applicants which were issued across three different selections. The invitations were issued to applicants under two of the PSTQ, to candidates working in non-regulated TEER - 3 – 5 jobs who had at least one year of Quebec work experience. 3.   Regulated Professions

Under this category, 1,141 invitations were issued across six different categories under stream three of the PSTQ, to candidates working in regulated professions and currently residing in Quebec across several in-demand positions:
