    An Australian PR holder can:

    1. Live and work anywhere in Australia.
    2. Pursue higher education opportunities.
    3. Travel inside and outside of the country without restrictions.

    1. Skilled migration visas

This visa focuses on people with qualifications and work experience in occupations that appear on Australia's skilled occupation lists.

It is a points-based visa, where applicants do not need an employer, state, or family sponsor.

It is a provisional visa that leads to PR, and this should be nominated by a state/territory or an eligible relative residing in a designated regional area.

    2. Family and partner visas

These visas allow Australia's citizens to be permanent residents and eligible New Zealand citizens to sponsor their family members.

    • Partner visa (subclass 820/801)—Partners or spouses, and those de facto.
    • Parent visa (Subclass 103) The parents of Australian citizens or PR holders.

    3. Employer-sponsored visas

Employers can sponsor skilled workers for critical roles in their businesses.

    • Subclass 186 (ENS): A nominated skilled worker for an Australian employer.
    • Subclass 187 (RSMS): Skilled workers for regional Australia. It is a scheme that has been phased out in recent years.

    4. Business and investor visas

These visas are meant for entrepreneurs, business persons, and investors interested in setting up or expanding a business enterprise in Australia.
