Process to Apply for Australia Subclass 190 Visa

To apply for an Australia PR Visa through this visa program, you must follow the following steps.

Step 1: Assess whether your occupation qualifies as a nominated occupation

The Australian government publishes the list of occupation profiles that fall under subclass 190. The first step is to check to see if the assessed e-skill matches that of the occupation.

Step 2: Fill out an Expression of Interest form (EOI)

Use SkillSelect to send your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DOIB). If you are qualified to practice your chosen profession in Australia, the DOIB will make a decision. SkillSelect is required for this application.

Step 3: Select a state to obtain an act nomination form

The applicant must specify the state in which they wish to apply for PR when submitting the EOI. Because the skill set should be on the needed skill set list, you must be sure of the state.

Step 4: Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)

Once the application is submitted, the applicant then shall wait for their desired state to accept the EOI. The points scored determine whether or not an EOI will be accepted. The minimum number of point scores required is 65. After you’ve been chosen, you’ll be invited to apply for PR.

Step 5: Apply for permanent residency within 60 days

Once the applicant receives the ITA, they have 60 days from the time to apply for the pr visa with all of the relevant documentation. Don’t wait for the ITA to be sent. Instead, gather all the necessary documentation well in advance.
