Step 2: Fill out an Expression of Interest form (EOI)
Use SkillSelect to send your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DOIB). If you are qualified to practise your chosen profession in Australia, the DOIB will make a decision. SkillSelect is required for this application.
Step 3: Select a state to obtain an act nomination form
The applicant must specify the state in which he or she wish to apply for PR when submitting the EOI. Because the skill set should be on the needed skill set set list, you must be certain of the state.

Step 5: Apply for permanent residency within 60 days
Once the applicant receives the ITA, they have 60 days from the time to apply for the PR visa with all of the relevant documentation. Don’t wait for the ITA to be sent rather gather all the necessary documentation well in advance.
