Expected Changes in the OINP PNP Program in 2026

It is expected several changes from the Ontario Immigration Nomination Program (OINP) to be announced and effective from May 30, 2026. It is expected from Ontario that they all set to revoke all the existing categories of applicants eligible for a certificate of nomination – including the Foreign Worker Stream, International student, and In-demand Skills categories.

The province has now proposed to replace all these streams with the consolidated Employer Job Offer stream (with two pathways based on the skill level), along with these three streams:

❖  A priority healthcare stream

❖  An entrepreneur stream

❖  An exceptional talent stream

Well, with these occupations, Ontario has invited more than 1,100 candidates to the country so as to help address labour shortage in the province. Ontario, with these dedicated streams, aims to strengthen its workforce and accelerate the economy by recruiting skilled professionals in the high-demand industries.
