    As a STEM Professional, applicants applying for Canada PR must be eligible for the application process. The applicants are eligible when they have accumulated, within the past 3 years, at least 6 months of full-time, continuous work experience (or an equal amount of part-time experience) in a single occupation listed in the given table below.

    How to Apply for Canada PR for STEM Professionals 

    Applicants applying for Canada PR as a STEM Professionals are required to follow certain steps which are as: 

    Step 1: Applicants applying for Canada PR must check Eligibility before application. The eligibility factor is 67 points, also known as CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System), which is further evaluated on factors such as age, educational qualifications, work experience, and English language proficiency test score. 

    Step 2: After checking in eligibility, applicants are required to submit their educational credentials to ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) through which the Canadian government gets assurance that the applicant's qualifications are equivalent to Canadian standards. 

    Step 3: After assessment, applicants are required to gather all the essential documents such as:

    ●    Valid passport

    ● Passport-sized photographs

    ●    Educational documents

    ●    English language proficiency test score report, such as IELTS, and TEF for French language proficiency test score

    ●    Medical health reports

    ●    Police clearance certificate

    ●    Proof of funds 

    Step 4:  The next step after accumulating all the necessary documents is to choose the correct visa pathway such as the Express Entry Program, Provincial Nominee Program, or Canadian Work Permit. After choosing in the correct visa pathway, applicants are required to create an online profile for the visa program

     Step 5: After creating an online account for the respective program, fill in all the necessary details with the application fee. After submitting the application form, applicants must wait for the visa decision.

     Step 6: Once the application for is submitted, the Canadian government will return with their decision. Applicants who receive a positive response they will receive an ITA (Invitation to Apply), which indicates the applicant's journey towards Canada is on the verge to begin.

     Step 7: After receiving ITA, and submission of application form within 60 days, applicants will receive COPR (confirmation of permanent residency) card.
