Express entry Draws in 2026 have primarily seen its shift towards more experienced and competent professionals within the immigration process. The country now focuses on professionals who will be considered as an asset to their economy while fulfilling the need of professionals in the Canadian labour market. Despite focusing on category based selection like the previous year, Canada has laid its foundation for professionals particularly with Canadian work experience. Professionals with Canadian work experience are often taken on priority basis because of their accumulated knowledge about the country’s economy and resources, leaving inexperienced candidates behind in the immigration pool.
