Canadian Experience Class Requirements

The Canadian Experience Class under Express Entry System holds certain requirements that are quite essential for applicants applying for the skilled professionals who aspire to immigrate to Canada and secure Canada permanent residency. Well, Canadian Experience Class requirements set by the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) are as follows: 

1.   Canadian Work Experience

The most crucial and foremost requirement is the Canadian work experience within the past three years. The total work experience counted must be at least one year or 1,560 total hours or 30 hours per week in the past three years.

The work experience earned must be in any of the occupations listed in the NOC list under any of the TEER categories, 0, 1, 2, or 3. 

2.   Language Proficiency
