Canada held three Express Entry invitation rounds in three days, from 26 to 28 October 2026, and each one selected a different group of candidates. The cut-off in one round therefore says nothing about the next round in another category.
Round | Date | Category | Invitations | Lowest CRS |
|---|---|---|---|---|
453 | 28 October 2026 | Transport occupations | 150 | 477 |
452 | 27 October 2026 | French-language proficiency | 5,000 | 407 |
451 | 26 October 2026 | Provincial Nominee Program | 792 | 761 |
Round 453: Transport occupations — 150 invitations at 477
The latest round, on 28 October 2026, invited 150 candidates under the Transport occupations category, with a lowest CRS score of 477.
The tie-break was for profiles created before 4 June 2026 at 21:48:22 UTC, so a candidate sitting exactly on 477 was invited only if their profile was in the pool before that moment.
This was a category round, not a general draw. Only candidates who met the Transport occupations category requirements were eligible, and a job title alone is not enough — the work experience must match the eligible occupation.
The previous Transport round, on 7 August 2026, invited 300 candidates at 470, so this round issued half as many invitations ata cut-off 7 points high
Round 452: French-language proficiency — 5,000 invitations at 407
On 27 October 2026, IRCC invited 5,000 candidates in a French-language proficiency round, with a lowest CRS score of 407 and a tie-break for profiles created before 13 July 2026 at 19:22 UTC.
That is 28 points below the previous French round on 16 October 2026, which invited 5,000 candidates at 435.
French-category candidates need at least NCLC 7 in all four French language abilities.
For applicants from India, this is the round to watch if French is already part of the profile, or if French learning is a realistic way to lift the score.
Round 451: Provincial Nominee Program — 792 invitations at 761
On 26 October 2026, IRCC invited 792 provincial nominees at a lowest CRS score of 761.
Provincial nomination adds 600 points to a candidate's CRS score, which is why PNP cut-offs sit far above category and general rounds.
A nomination does not come from Express Entry itself — it comes from a province or territory, and each province sets its own streams and criteria.
What applicants from India should check now
Choosing the best immigration consultant in India is less about the headline cut-off and more about this check: does your profile fit a programme, a category, or a provincial stream, and is the evidence for that route complete?
An immigration consultant in Delhi working with Canada PR from India should run that check before quoting a timeline or a score target.
- Do not read 477, 407 or 761 as one general cut-off. Each figure belongs only to its own category and date.
- Check which round you actually qualify for — a programme, a category, or a provincial stream — before judging a score.
- Check the profile itself: Indian qualifications need an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA), language tests can be taken from India, and work experience must be documented so the duties match the claimed occupation.
- Check before 3 November 2026: from 3 November, IRCC's Labour Market Integration factor replaces the old arranged-employment points. A qualifying job offer will be worth 50, 70 or 100 points by wage tier, and eligible Canadian work experience will add a bonus of 20, 40 or 70 points. The two are never stacked — a candidate receives the higher of the two only — the maximum is 150 points without a spouse and 140 with a spouse, and no LMIA is required from 3 November. No next-draw date has been announced, so none is given here.
No visa, invitation or timeline is guaranteed. Draw results describe one round only.
