Alberta invites more than 1,000 applicants, with four draws

In the first week of May, from May 1 to 13, Alberta held four draws and invited more than 1,000 applicants to provide provincial nominations and work and live in Alberta and settle as permanent residents of Canada.

With a total of 1,051 applicants invited in the latest Alberta PNP draw through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), the province issued invitations across various categories such as health and tech professionals, and rural community bound applicants who seek opportunities and residency in the rural areas of Alberta. 

Alberta PNP Latest Draw 

Comprising a total of four draws, Alberta issued invitations under the following streams and pathways:

  • Rural Renewal Stream
  • Alberta Opportunity Stream 
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathways
  • Dedicated Healthcare Pathway – Express Entry

Alberta PNP's latest draw invited 1,051 applicants across these following streams and pathways, with a majority of invitations dedicated to the Alberta Opportunity Stream, i.e., 3,857 applicants. With the latest round of invitations, the Alberta PNP draws count to a total of 36 draws, with 6,269 applicants in the year 2026.
