Alberta Invites Applications for Provincial Nominations

Alberta invites a large number of applications for Provincial Nominations in the month of September, inviting more than 1,300 applications alone in the month of September.

 The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) held seven draws in the course of September from 2 to 10 September 2025, issuing 1,375 invitations to apply (ITAs), focusing mainly on the Alberta Express Entry Stream and dedicated Health Care Pathway.

Out of all these seven draws, the draw on September 4, 2025, made a huge impact on the immigration workforce, inviting a total of 891 applications under the Alberta Opportunity Stream.

In the initial phase of 2025, AAIP announced that the Alberta Express Entry Stream would issue applications on the basis of priority set under sections that are under need of skilled professionals, such as construction, agriculture, aviation, and healthcare. The priority sections are invited alongside, three designated pathways:

❖  Dedicated Health Care Pathway

❖  The Accelerated Tech Pathway

❖  The Law Enforcement Pathway

AAIP, has issued a large number of ITAs in the year 2025, issuing 4,875 ITAs, mainly in the priority sector. The following table indicates the probability of the requirement of skilled professionals in the Canadian labour market. 

The large number of invitations in the year 2025 indicates the importance of skilled professionals over any other factor. The Canadian workforce requires applicants with prior skill sets who are ready to be a part of Canada’s work culture and embrace Canada with its charm and its dignity.
