     1.  Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

     2.  Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

    Also known as Nominated visa, Subclass 190, allows qualified professionals to immigrate to Australia only when they have been nominated by the Australian states or territories such as Queensland, New South Wales, and Western Australia.

     3.  Skilled Work Regional (Provision) Visa (Subclass 491)

    Subclass 491, allows skilled professionals to immigrate to Australia only when they are being nominated by the regional states of Australia such as Perth, Adelaide, and Newcastle.

     4.  Graduate post-Vocational Visa (Subclass 485)

     1.  Check Eligibility

    The first step an electrician has to make while processing is to check the eligibility required for the application. The eligibility factors are:

    ❖  65 points:

    ●    Age

    ●    Work experience

    ●    Educational qualifications

    ●    English language proficiency test score (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL)

    ❖   Selected occupation to be listed on the Australia Skilled Occupation List with valid ANZSCO Code

     2.  Skill Assessment from Skillset

    The following step in this process is applying for a skill assessment done by the authorised skill assessment authority. An electrician needs to submit all the educational credentials to TRA (Trades Recognition Australia). Along with educational credentials, applicants need to submit some of the essential documents such as:

    ●    Valid passport

    ●    Employer reference letter

    ●    Work experience letter

    ●    Bank statement (3-6 months)

     3.  Apply ROI

    The next step under this process is the application of ROI. Applicants applying under Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 need to register ROI (Registration of Interest). Candidates applying under Subclass 190 need to specific state nomination such as to Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and other states of Australia and regional states under Subclass 491 such as to Perth, Adelaide, and Newcastle.

     4.  Register EOI

    After submitting educational credentials and registering ROIs, candidates have to lodge an EOI (Expression of interest), stating the applicant's purpose behind immigration and duration of stay.

     5.  Receive ITA

    The next step in the course of application is to receive an Invitation To Apply (ITA). By ITA, the Australian Government allows the applicants to start submitting their documents.
