Quebec Migration: Over 2,500 Candidates to be Invited in the Latest Quebec Immigration Draw

A total of 2,552 ITAs issued on March 19, 2026, Quebec invited candidates to immigrate to the province through the Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ)

The latest round of invitation marks the third draw by Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) thus far in 2026. The invitations for the streams were made from the Arrima pool on March 16, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. The respective four streams are as follows:

a)  Highly Qualified and Specialsized Stream

b)  Intermediate and Manual Skills

c)   Regulated Professions

d)  Exceptional Talent

Canada Quebec Skilled Worker Program: Draw Analysis

In the latest Canada Quebec Skilled Worker Selection program draw, a total of 2,552 invitations were issued so as to attract professionals with certain skills and qualifications. Although Quebec over the past few years has been facing a continuous shortage of professionals to meet demand, Quebec invited numerous applicants to the province and later settle as permanent residents. Stream 1: Highly Qualified and Specialized Stream

Under the Exceptional talent stream, only two invitations were issued, with no minimum scores listed. However, certain requirements required for the eligible candidates are: 

❖  Held a document confirming an achievement on the MIFI’s List of Exceptional Achievements;

❖  Have at least 36 months’ worth of experience in their primary occupation within the past five years; and

❖  Possess a level of education equivalent to a doctorate in Quebec (including undergraduate doctorates). 

These were some of the eligibility requirements set by Quebec's Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) to help candidates immigrate to the province and settle as residents. By attracting professionals under different streams, sectors, occupations, Quebec has aimed of sufficing its labour shortage needs while providing numerous job opportunities in the province.
