Choosing an immigration consultant in Delhi is, in practice, choosing who will handle your eligibility assessment, your documents, and your application to another country's government. The decision matters more than the advertisement that attracted you: a weak assessment at the start is what produces refusals, delays, and fees paid for a route that was never suitable. This page sets out how to judge any consultant in Delhi — including Province Immigration — before you sign anything, and where Province Immigration's Delhi service fits within that framework.

Delhi is the natural place to make this comparison. The city's immigration consultancies are concentrated in commercial centres such as Nehru Place and Connaught Place, and most offer the same headline destinations: Canada, Australia, and Europe, including Germany. That concentration is useful: you can visit offices in person, compare written terms side by side, and check reviews for the same Delhi office you would actually deal with, rather than a head office elsewhere.

How to judge an immigration consultant in Delhi

1. Start with eligibility, not with a destination

A credible consultant begins by testing whether you qualify, and for which route — not by selling a single destination to every applicant. Expect questions about age, education, work experience, language test results, marital status, and your city of residence, and expect the answer to be a route, not a promise. If a consultant names a destination before reviewing your resume and certificates, that is a reason to pause.

From India, the principal routes are Canada PR through Express Entry and provincial nomination, Australia PR through SkillSelect and state nomination, and Europe pathways including Germany's Opportunity Card and skilled work routes. Each has different eligibility tests, points systems, and timelines, and the right route for one applicant is often the wrong route for another with a similar profile.

2. Check registration, company standing, and written terms

Before paying anything, verify three things in writing: registration and company identity — Province Immigration is IRCC Registered, has worked in immigration since 2015, and is registered in India as Province Immigration Private Limited (CIN U74900DL2017PTC316682); a written agreement covering fees, scope, stages, and refund terms before payment; and refund terms stated by destination — Canada PR 100% refund on visa rejection, Australia 60% refund of the processing fee on visa rejection, in both cases subject to the written agreement, with conditions and exclusions applying. No blanket refund figure should be quoted for all destinations.

3. Ask how documents and applications are checked

Most refusals are document refusals: a wrong occupation code, an education assessment that does not maximise the credential, a reference letter that does not match the claimed duties, or a form submitted with an error that was never caught. Ask how many checks an application passes before submission, who reviews it, and whether you retain access to your own file, logins, and correspondence. Province Immigration applies a no-defect checking process, shares file access with the client, and assigns a case manager for the file.

4. Compare fees as a total, in writing

Compare the consultancy fee, what it covers, what it does not cover, and which government fees you pay directly to the authorities — not a single headline number. Ask whether the fee is charged once or per stage, and what happens if a route changes after assessment. A fee quoted without a written breakdown is not a comparison.

5. Read Delhi-specific reviews, not just a national rating

A national rating does not tell you how a Delhi office performs. Read reviews for the Delhi office itself, look at how the company responds to negative reviews, and treat a profile with only five-star reviews with caution. Province Immigration's Google profile is rated 4.4, and its Trustpilot profile is rated 4.0 from 19 reviews; both are public and can be checked before you visit.

What to ask in a first consultation in Delhi

  1. Which route do I qualify for, and what evidence supports that assessment?
  2. What is my points position under that route, and what would improve it — language results, a spouse's assessment, a provincial or state nomination?
  3. What is the realistic timeline, and which stages depend on government processing rather than the consultant?
  4. What is the total fee, what is paid directly to authorities, and what are the refund terms in writing?
  5. Who is my case manager, and how will I track my file?
  6. What happens if my application is refused — is reapplication included, and on what terms?

A consultant that answers these six questions in writing has given you something comparable. A consultant that answers them only verbally has not.

Canada, Australia and Europe from Delhi: what differs by destination

The three headline destinations are not interchangeable, and a consultant that describes them in the same terms is not giving you a real comparison. The eligibility test, the points system, the documents, and the timeline are different in each case — and from Delhi, the practical difference is often which test you can pass, and which route rewards your particular profile.

Canada PR from Delhi

Canada's principal routes are Express Entry — Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trades — and provincial nomination, which adds 600 CRS points to an Express Entry profile. Your CRS score is built from age (maximum at 20–29, falling to 0 at 45 or older), education, language results, and skilled work experience, with additional points for a spouse's profile, a sibling in Canada, or a provincial nomination. Since 3 November 2026, qualifying job offers and Canadian work experience in 186 high-wage occupations earn points under IRCC's Labour Market Integration factor — 100, 70 or 50 points for a job offer depending on whether the wage is at least twice, 1.5 times, or 1.3 times the national median, with a matching experience bonus — and no LMIA is required for those points. Invitation rounds are paused while scores are recalculated, so any cut-off quoted from before November 2026 should be treated as history, not as a prediction of the next round.

For applicants from India, the first steps are usually a language test — IELTS, PTE, CELPIP or TOEFL, plus French for Canada PR where it helps the score — and an educational credential assessment for a foreign degree. IRCC's processing-time tool (figures dated 9 October 2026) indicates 6 months for Canadian Experience Class, 7 months for Federal Skilled Worker and for enhanced provincial nomination, and 13 months for base provincial nomination; these are government processing estimates, not a consultant's promise, and they move. Before relying on any figure quoted in a meeting, check it against the Canada PR FAQs on the Canada PR Visa page and the latest published draw results.

Australia PR from Delhi

Australia's principal routes are Subclass 189 (independent), Subclass 190 (state nomination, 5 points), and Subclass 491 (regional nomination, 15 points), all assessed through SkillSelect. Your points are built from age, English, skilled employment, education, and partner points, and a credible consultant should show you the full calculation, not just a total — because the difference between 65 and 75 points is often one improvable element, such as a higher English score, a skills assessment in the right occupation, or a partner's assessment.

The most recent SkillSelect round, on 15 October 2026, invited 20,000 Subclass 189 applicants across 159 occupations, with minimum points from 65 to 100 by occupation, and 44 occupations at 65 points. That round also invited no family-sponsored Subclass 491 applicants. State nomination adds a further layer: each state publishes its own occupation lists and criteria, so a profile that is competitive for one state may not be competitive for another, and the state you choose should follow your occupation and points, not the other way round.

Europe, including Germany, from Delhi

Germany's Opportunity Card is the clearest example of why Europe cannot be sold as a single visa. It requires a recognised degree or a recognised vocational qualification of at least two years, plus German at A1 level or English at B2 level, and a points threshold of 6 from a maximum of 16. Points are awarded for partial recognition of a qualification (4 points), a shortage occupation (1 point), work experience (3 points for five or more years, 2 for two or more), German language (3 for B2 or above, 2 for B1, 1 for A2 — highest level only), English at C1 (1 point), age under 35 (2 points) or 35–40 (1 point), a stay in Germany of six months or more (1 point), and a spouse applying jointly (1 point). A fully recognised qualification is a direct route in its own right, without the points test. The official requirements also include proof of funds of €1,091 per month (€13,092 for 12 months), health insurance with at least €30,000 cover, and a €75 application fee.

Other European routes differ substantially by country, occupation, and whether the route is a job-seeker visa, a skilled work visa, or a residence permit tied to a specific employer. Ask which country's route is being proposed, what its eligibility test is, what evidence is required, and what the route does and does not lead to — in writing. A consultant that cannot name the country, the test, and the evidence is selling a destination, not a route.
