      • International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer: For skilled workers who are having a job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.
      • International Skilled Worker – Occupation in-demand: For skilled immigrants who are having work experience in an occupation that is in demand in the province but do not have a job offer in the province.
      • International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry: This stream is for the express entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination, who are having skilled work experience in an occupation that is in demand in the province.

    Saskatchewan Experience Category:

    This immigration category is for foreign workers who are already living in the province. Following are the sub-categories under SINP Experience Category:

      • Existing Work Permit: For foreign workers currently working in the province for a minimum of six months under a valid work permit.
      • Health Professionals: For physicians, nurses, or any other health professionals who are working in the province for a minimum of six months.
      • Hospitality Sector Project: For skilled immigrants who are currently working as food and beverage servers, food counter attendants, kitchen helpers, or housekeeping and cleaning staff for a minimum of six months
      • Long Haul Truck Driver Project: For immigrants who are currently working for an approved trucking firm in the province.
      • Students: For recently graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution in the country.

    Entrepreneur and Farm Category:

    This category is for the immigrants who want to run their own or buy a business or farming operation in the province of Saskatchewan.

    International Graduate Entrepreneur Category:

    For international students who recently graduated from a post-secondary institution in the province and who are planning to run a business in the province. 

    What is the process to apply for a provincial nomination through SINP?

    For the candidates who have applied for provincial nomination under SINP’s International Skilled Worker – Express Entry sub-category, they have to first submit an online profile in the Express Entry program. Once the profile is created, the candidate will get a profile number and Job Seeker Validation Code.

    Below are the steps candidates need to follow to apply under SINP in 2020:

    • Obtain all the required documents and create your EOI profile through an online portal – OASIS
    • Submit your application for the provincial nomination
    • Once the application is submitted, it will be assessed according to the eligibility criteria
    • If the application is approved, then SINP will nominate you for permanent residency status to the federal government
    • After you accept the nomination, you will have 60 days to submit your application for Canada PR Visa to the IRCC
    • IRCC will then send you instructions for medical examination, and you can be asked to attend an interview
    • If you can meet all the requirements, IRCC will issue the PR visa to you and your accompanying family members

    Steps to immigrate to Saskatchewan from India

    You can easily immigrate to Saskatchewan from India through Saskatchewan PNP. Following are the steps to apply for SINP PNP:

    • Choose the category to apply under. All the interested immigrants for Saskatchewan provincial nomination, have to apply under any of the immigration categories – International Skilled Worker (ISW), Saskatchewan Experience, Entrepreneur, and Farm category.
    • Create an EOI profile through OASIS online portal. All the profiles in Saskatchewan PNP’s EOI pool are then assigned scores based on their profile credentials.
    • Higher ranked profiles are then issued the invitation to submit their application to the SINP. The candidate will have 60 days to submit their candidacy with a set of documents appropriate for the provincial nomination.
    • The provincial immigration office then assesses all the immigration applications for the provincial nomination.
    • In case the provincial nomination application is successfully evaluated, they are nominated for provincial nomination and can then submit their application for a Canadian permanent resident visa.
    • Once the candidate has secured the nomination, this will be reflected in the candidate’s Express Entry profile. They must accept the SINP nomination within 30 days.
    • Once the application is accepted, IRCC will invite the applicant to apply for a Canadian PR visa within 60 days of receiving the invitation.
    • If the applicant meets all the requirements, IRCC will issue the permanent resident visa to the applicant and accompanying family members.
