    VETASSESS Skill Assessment Australia

Skill assessment is a critical step towards the Australian Skilled Migration Program. Skill assessment is a process where applicants’ skills are being assessed in order to meet Australian Migration Standards.

To recollect, Australian Immigration is a step-by-step approach for migration; any applicant would require 65 points in the point assessment grid, occupation to be listed on the Australian Skilled Occupation List, and a positive Skill Assessment report.

During the Australian Immigration Services, profiles are being assessed, measured according to the Australian standards. To ease this process, Australian Migration Services introduced Skill Assessment Authorities who check all the skills and relevant occupations the applicant has applied for to fall into the Australian Skilled Occupation List. Some of the Skill Assessment Authorities are ACS, Engineers Australia, CPA, and VETASSESS.

VETASSESS (Vocational Education and Training Assessment Services ) is one of the leading assessment authorities, other than ACS, Engineers Australia, and CPA, considered during the Australian Immigration services. These skill assessment authorities, governed by the Australian Home Affairs, evaluate profiles for immigration based on certain Professional And Trade Occupations.
