All Express Entry Program Invites 7,000 Candidates In 2023

Surprise draw was held on 23rd March for all program express entry. This year’s third all-program express entry program draw is happening. IRCC is inviting 7000 candidates with minimum CRS 484. These are all programs which include Federal skilled worker program (FSWP), Canadian Experience class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). Last All-program draw was held on 15th March, 2023 which too invited 7000 candidates, but the minimum CRS (comprehensive ranking system) was 490. Earlier IRCC invited 5500 candidates on 18th January, 2023. There were programs in between but they were PNP based.

This draw was surprising as it was consecutive after the all-program draw on 15th March.

MULTI – YEAR PNP LEVELS PLAN

Some provinces have allowed an increase in the number of PNP allocations. for example, Ontario is to give rise to 18000 spots in 2025, Manitoba’s allocation will be increased from 3175 spaces in 2022 to 9500 in 2023, Saskatchewan will increase its allocations from 7250 nominees in 2023 to 8500 in 2025. Alberta will also witness a rise from 6500 in 2022 to 9750 in 2023. Other provinces are yet to release their data of the number of PNP allocations.

The Express entry candidates can increase their chances of receiving an ITA by PNP. If a candidate is nominated by a province, he/she receives an addition of 600 CRS score, which helps enable a candidate to receive an ITA for Permanent Residence.

WHAT IS EXPRESS ENTRY?

Express Entry is an application management system which focuses on three immigration programs: Federal skilled worker program (FSWP), federal skilled trades program (FSTP), Canadian experience Class (CEC).

The express entry system allows IRCC to select candidates for Permanent Residence based on their CRS Score. The highest ranking candidate will be sent an ITA (invitation to apply). Once a candidate receives an ITA he/she has 60 days to submit their application to IRCC. The IRCC reviews the application and decides whether to approve the candidate.
