Step 1: Complete the Application Form

The first step under this process is to fill in the application form. ●    Visa fee receipt as a proof of visa fee payment.

●    a statement of block account covering at least € 992 per month, or a declaration of commitment from a sponsor as a proof of sufficient funds.

●    Motivation letter which details the applicant’s study purpose, relevance to future plans, and reasons for choosing Germany.

●    Updated curriculum vitae (CV).

●    Schengen travel health insurance as this is valid for the initial period of stay, and later switch to private insurance after arrival to Germany.

●    Academic or professional certificates.

●    Proof of accommodation in Germany

Step 4: Submit Your Application at the Embassy

After accumulating essential documents, applicants are required to pay the visa application fee which is € 75. After receiving the visa receipt, applicants are required to submit the visa application form with all the required documents. With this applicants will also have to undergo biometric information (fingerprints and photograph).

Step 5: Get the Visa
