Manitoba PNP invites 213 immigration candidates
The new draw brings the total number of invitations issued so far this year to 3,299
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) encouraged proficient employees and international student graduates through three spiritual streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Licensed Employees Overseas and Global Education streams.
The invitations, also Called Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), were dispersed as follows along with their respective Expression of Interest (EOI) score requirement :
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba— 171 LAAs using a minimum score of at least 475
- Skilled Workers Overseas-– 8 LAAs using a minimum score of at least 824
- International Education Stream— 34 LAAs, no EOI score requirement
The province has issued 3,299 LAAs to immigration applicants in these.
Express Entry
Among the LAAs issued in the August 28 draw, 23 went to applicants with a valid profile at the federal Express Entry system.
Candidates who qualify for the Express Entry pool have been rated based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score which considers human capital factors such as age, work experience, education, and language skill.
The highest-scoring candidates are invited to submit an application for Canadian permanent residence through regular draws in the Express Entry pool.Express Entry applicants that obtained a provincial nomination from Manitoba in this draw declared a valid Express Entry ID and supplied a job seeker identification code.
About Manitoba immigration flows
The Licensed Workers Overseas Category and Licensed Workers in Manitoba flows permit the state to nominate skilled workers who will support Manitoba’s labour market requirements.
People that are overseas want to have a proven link to Manitoba. This may be demonstrated through close family ties or friends in the state, previous knowledge in Manitoba, or an invitation beneath among the MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
Candidates do not have to be physically present in Manitoba at the time of this program to be eligible.
Successful applicants in the Skilled Workers in Manitoba class must fulfill specific standards, such as having a full-time permanent job offer from an employer in Manitoba.
International students that graduated from an educational institution in Manitoba may receive an LAA beneath the International Education Stream if they’ve in-demand skills.
