EOI profiles are awarded points depending on the state’s unique factors grid. The highest-scoring candidates are then invited to apply through monthly draws.
The PEI PNP did not offer a breakdown of the number of Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates were invited for each category, nor the minimum EOI score requirements.
Labour Impact Category
The Labour effect Category is for foreign nationals who have a valid job offer in P.E.I., and have support from their employer. It’s separated into three streams: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate.
Nominees in this category should also submit an Expression of Interest in order to be considered for a provincial nomination through the Labour Impact Category.
Business Impact Category
Business Impact Category applicants need to fulfill the minimum provincial score requirement to be able to carry on with their applications. The score differs in each draw. The invitations that P.E.I delivered in the current attraction were issued under the Work Permit Stream, which will be for foreign entrepreneurs who want to own and operate a business on the island.
