Prince Edward Island has introduced the details of its scheduled March 18 draw. PEI latest PNP Draw 2021 invites candidates for provincial nomination.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) issued a total of 150 invitations. The Majority of the invitations, 140, went to Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates. The remaining 10 invitations moved to Business Impact candidates who had at the minimum point threshold of 70.
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) permit Canada’s provinces and territories to pick spiritual candidates who fulfill their labour market needs. They occasionally align with Canada’s federal Express Entry program . Canada is aiming to admit 80,800 new immigrants throughout the PNPs this year.
PEI PNP Express Entry Category
The PEI PNP’s Express Entry Category is an enhanced PNP, which means it works together with the national administration’s Express Entry system.
Express Entry manages the applications for three economic-class immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination are awarded an extra 600 points toward their CRS score, and are effectively ensured an Invitation to Implement (ITA) for permanent residence in another Express Entry draw.
So as to be considered for a provincial nomination out of P.E.I., Express Entry candidates need to create an EOI profile together with the PEI PNP. PEI latest PNP Draw 2021 invites candidates for provincial nomination.
EOI profiles are awarded points depending on the state’s unique factors grid. The highest-scoring candidates are then invited to apply through monthly draws.
The PEI PNP did not offer a breakdown of the number of Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates were invited for each category, nor the minimum EOI score requirements.
Labour Impact Category
The Labour effect Category is for foreign nationals who have a valid job offer in P.E.I., and have support from their employer. It’s separated into three streams: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate.
Nominees in this category should also submit an Expression of Interest in order to be considered for a provincial nomination through the Labour Impact Category.
Business Impact Category
Business Impact Category applicants need to fulfill the minimum provincial score requirement to be able to carry on with their applications. The score differs in each draw. The invitations that P.E.I delivered in the current attraction were issued under the Work Permit Stream, which will be for foreign entrepreneurs who want to own and operate a business on the island.
