Canada Occupation In Demand List 2021 | Jobs Demand List Canada

Welcome to Province Immigration a immigration company

What are the occupations that are in demand in Canada?

Immigrant applicants with work experience in any skilled occupation may be invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada through Canada’s Express Entry system, but experience in a Canada occupation in-demand may be an advantage at the provincial level.

Canada has federal and provincial economic immigration pathways, each with its own specific work experience criteria.

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is the main source of skilled immigrants to apply for a Canada PR Visa. To be eligible for this program, one of the major requirements is to have work experience in any one of the 347 eligible occupations. Any skilled immigrant who has the required work experience in in-demand occupations is selected for the PR visa process.

What is the minimum requirement for a Canada PR Visa?

To apply for a Canada PR visa, the candidate needs to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Have a minimum of one year of continuous work experience or equivalent part-time work experience within the last ten years in any one of the 347 eligible occupations listed in the NOC (National Occupational Classification) system;
  • Must be over 18 years of age;
  • Get at least 67 points out of 100 in FSWP points assessment grid;
  • Score at least 6 per band in IELTS;
  • Must have sufficient settlement funds;
  • Submit a PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) and undergo a medical examination;

    NOC has different skill levels that are based on the type of occupation. These skill levels are:

    • Skill Level O: Management related professions;
    • Skill Level A: Occupations that require at least a university degree;
    • Skill Level B: Tech-related occupations that require an apprentice training or college diploma;
