Saskatchewan has invited 1067 applicants on 69 point cutoff in the latest draw that was conducted on 20th April, 2023. 

If you are looking for a PR visa in Canada but are unable to qualify because of the lower CRS points or fewer bands in IELTS. Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) might be the best option for you. The PNP immigration program allows several provinces of Canada to shortlist profiles from the express entry pool. If the candidate qualifies for the requirements of the province, and has the ability to settle in that particular province, he/she will be nominated by the province. Being nominated by the province will ensure you an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Nomination from a province will give you an addition of 600 points to your current CRS score which will ensure that you receive an Invitation to apply (ITA). 

The latest PNP draw was released on 20th April by Saskatchewan. This draw invited a total of 1067 candidates from occupations in demand and from the express entry pool, where 444 belonged to the occupations in demand stream and 623 belonged to the express entry stream. 

There was no specific job sector that was targeted in this draw but the major focus was on express entry and occupation in demand. The candidates having a point above 69 cutoff were prioritised in the draw. The occupation in  demand NOCs were 13201, 20012, 21203, 21211, 21220, 21221, 21222, 21223, 21230, 21231, 21232, 21233, 21234, 21301, 21321, 22220, 22221, 31203, 32102, 32103, 32120, 32121, 32122, 32123, 41301, 62100, 70012, 72024, 72100, 72106, 72201, 72310, 72400, 72401, 72410, 73102, 82030, 92100 and the NOCs for express entry occupations were 13201, 20012, 21203, 21211, 21220, 21221, 21222, 21223, 21230, 21231, 21232, 21233, 21234, 21301, 21321, 22220, 22221, 31203, 32102, 32103, 32120, 32121, 32122, 32123, 41301, 62100, 70012, 72024, 72100, 72106, 72201, 72310, 72400, 72401, 72410, 73102, 82030, 92100.

For applying in the SINP you do not have to worry about your CRS score. Saskatchewan has a PNP point system where you have to score a total of 60/110. If you have a sufficient point score and your occupation is in demand list in Saskatchewan you can apply for this pathway. 

It is very difficult to predict the future of SINP as it largely depends on the 

  • Number of applications received 
  • Quality of applications 
  • Current market needs of Saskatchewan 

However, the cutoff is always in between 65 to 70 but not miss, the cutoff may fluctuate on the basis of the factors mentioned above. So you will have to keep a regular check on the websites for latest updates or consult Province immigration for customised services and enhance your chances of success.
