Alberta PNP draw: CRS drops to 301

So far in 2021, Alberta has invited 709 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination
Express Entry candidates are one step closer to permanent residency position after Alberta held a new draw on March 2. Latest Alberta PNP Draw invites candidates for provincial nomination.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) encouraged a total of 200 Express Entry candidates to apply for the Alberta Express Entry stream. Candidates only needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 301. People who were encouraged can currently apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
All candidates encouraged in Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw had a profile at the Express Entry system.
Express Entry is Canada’s program management system to the three Federal High Skilled immigration pathways, which include the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, along with the Canadian Expertise Class. Latest Alberta PNP Draw invites candidates for provincial nomination.
Eligible immigration candidates get a score depending on the CRS. Candidates get points for variables which the government has decided will assist a prospective immigrant triumph in Canada’s labor market. These variables comprise a candidate’s age, education, work experience, language ability in English or French, and other people.
Canada’s immigration section, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) frequently holds Express Entry pulls, inviting the highest-scoring candidates to submit an application for permanent residence. At the most recent invitation round, about March 8, IRCC only invited candidates who had previously obtained a provincial nomination.
People who get the provincial nomination out of Alberta will automatically get an extra 600 CRS points added to their score. That usually means that the invited candidates that have scores equal to the minimum requirement in this draw would find a new CRS score of 901.

This improved PNP is for Express Entry applicants that have strong ties to Alberta, or even who can support the administration’s economic growth and exemptions. During the pandemic, Alberta is only considering candidates that are already working and living in the province.
Candidates also should have work experience in an eligible occupation. The AINP simply provides a listing of occupations that are ineligible for the flow’s requirements.
About November 1, 2020, the national government raised the amount of jobs that are qualify to apply for a Labour Market Impact Assessment at Alberta. However, candidates who received an invitation or after November 1, 2020 can still be selected via the Alberta Express Entry Stream, even if they are working in a job that the federal government will not process an LMIA to get.
Alberta was allowed to issue 6,250 nomination certifications in 2020. However, due to this coronavirus pandemic, the state reduced their feasibility to 4,000 nominations. Each these nominations were issued by June 2020, which explains why there were no draws on for the next half of this year.
The AINP hasn’t yet released the number of provincial nomination allocations for Alberta in 2021.
