PNP applicants are invited to Canada's Express Entry Draw
In the most recent Express Entry draw, applicants have received invitations from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
In a draw for candidates for the Provincial Nominee Program, the department welcomed 1,548 applicants.

This draw comes after the results of the all-program draw on October 10, which saw 3,725 applicants get Invitations to Apply (ITAs). Candidates have to have a 500 CRS minimum.

Candidates for Express Entry are no longer required to undergo a pre-entry medical test.
Candidates for Express Entry no longer needed to undergo an upfront immigrant medical examination (IME) before submitting their application to the IRCC for permanent residence as of October 1st of this year.
While there is still an exam requirement, applicants can upload a blank document using the Express Entry profile builder’s upload box. IRCC will send additional details about your medical exam at a later time.
It is optional to do a second IME if the applicant has already completed one as part of an earlier IRCC application or if they are currently residents of Canada.
Express Entry: What Is It?
The Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class are managed using the application management system Express Entry.
The Comprehensive Ranking System is used to evaluate candidates for these programs (CRS). Candidates are ranked by the algorithm according to their human capital characteristics, which include age, education, job experience, language proficiency, and occupation.
Every characteristic is given a number, which when added together brings the overall score to a maximum of 1200. The majority of minimal CRS cut-off scores fall between 350 and 550 (sometimes higher, depending on the kind of draw), yet candidates seldom score this high. The applicants most likely to acquire an ITA to apply to the IRCC for permanent resident status are those with the highest scores.
