Invitations were issued December 1 through the Labour Market Priorities Stream

Nova Scotia issued new invitations to apply for a nomination for Canadian permanent residence via its Express Entry-linked Labour Economy Priorities immigration flow on December 1. Nova Scotia PNP Draw welcoming immigrants for provincial nomination.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) did not specify the amount of invitations were issued at the draw.

The Labour Market Priorities Stream permits the NSNP to look for the national Express Entry pool for applicants that meet labor market needs in the state. Past draws throughout the stream have targeted developers and media developers, automotive sector employees and nurses.

The invitations issued December 1 went into eligible Express Entry applicants who have a job offer from a Nova Scotia company for full-time skilled job in Nova Scotia. The offer of employment must be for a period of a minimum of one year following the permanent resident visa is issued. The expression “full-time” means working year-round and at least 30 hours per week.

Lastly, the draw targeted Express Entry candidates who have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) rating of 5 or greater in English or French. Nova Scotia PNP Draw welcomes immigrants for Provincial Nomination.

People who received a letter of invitation in the modern draw today have 30 calendar days to submit a complete application to NSNP.

Candidates must include a copy of language tests, evidence of education and of a job deal with their program.

Candidates invited from Express Entry pool

In order to be considered for a provincial nomination out of Nova Scotia through the Labour Economy Priorities Stream, applicants have to get a profile in the Express Entry program .

Express Entry manages applications for Canadian permanent home through three federal immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Expertise Class (CEC).

Express Entry candidates are ranked on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). They’re awarded points based on factors such as their age, job experience, education, and language ability in English or French.

Express Entry applicants with a provincial nomination will automatically be awarded an extra 600 CRS points, which will effectively guarantee that they’ll receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) at a subsequent Express Entry draw.
